Chef Erik's culinary journey began at the young age of 14 making omelets at a small eatery in his hometown in Connecticut. Over the next 23 years his talents have led him through kitchens great and small from coast to coast and back again.
Experiences he is particularly proud of are serving as Executive Chef for the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood, several years causing trouble in some of Boston's finer establishments, and more locally as a Chef/Instructor at the New England Culinary Institute, his alma mater.
At Lost Nation, Erik works to create rustic, pub inspired fare with bold flavor profiles and featuring local producers.
